DIY Cow Print Table
He said life speaks to you.
Yes.
One way to spice up your home is to add some razzle-dazzle to what you already have. Adding a spin to your objects can be fun and cheaper than purchasing new furniture or decorations.
The late libra/early scorpio season had me having sudden insights on so much that I could do to switch things up in my life. Out of all the many ideas I’m currently living out (hello bright red hair) and aspiring to do, rethinking my bedroom decor is on the top of my list. This period is also one for tapping into old habits for me: art and crafts. The best part: I don’t really need to buy anything except paint materials.
One of the ways I’ve introduced change into this season is by refinishing my coffee table. Yes, just a simple black coffee table I purchased for no more than $5 at a moving company’s warehouse. This little black coffee table has served me well in the short time I’ve had it, but it could use an uplift.
Another peculiar thing about this season– I’m all about black and white all of a sudden? The monochromatic duo is just so elegant yet popping to me these days. I really can’t resist it! I’ve found it showing up in my everyday inspiration from movies to old images. Disney’s Cruella movie had me in a chokehold last year, also Naomi’s 1990 Vogue photos with dalmations—incredible. My thrifted black and white striped purse has been my favorite companion and I just recently switched my bathroom theme to cow print—gosh stop me now why don’t you. Long story short, I’m going through a phase and I love it. My partner said that life speaks to me. Why yes, dear, I couldn’t agree more.
With this I decided to refinish my table in black and white color. Cow print to be exact. It took less than a week to complete and I couldn’t be happier. Keep scrolling to see how I created my DIY cow print table and let me know what you think!
